Welcome

It has been a pleasure and privilege to serve our county for sixteen years. My mission has been to stay connected by being active and involved. As a citizen and an employee of Greenville County, my career path has provided both rewarding and challenging experiences. Overcoming obstacles and taking on challenges have allowed me to grow as a humanitarian, one who cares and is concerned for the citizens of Greenville County.

Issues facing our county and Sheriff's Office:

  • Additional manpower is needed to improve response time.
  • Gangs are an increasing concern in our communities and schools.
  • Retired deputies who posses extensive knowledge and experience can prove to be effective in training new deputies.
  • The Sheriff's Office needs to become more a Visible, Reliable and Accountable agency.

My plan as your Sheriff is highlighted in the points listed below:

  • To increase manpower by restructuring and seeking innovated ways to make the overall Sheriff's Office more effective and efficient. To increase manpower by placing more deputies on the roads in our communities and schools without asking County Council for additional funds.  If changes are made to the current budget, additional funds are not needed from county council.
  • To create a more proactive Gang Task Force Unit with a focus on intelligence gathering and gang deterrence.
  • I plan to be a more visible Sheriff ensuring that deputy sheriffs are more visible in our communities.


This is a workable plan that will ultimately enhance the lives of all citizens in Greenville County.  Thank you for visiting my website, and I look forward to continuing my mission as your Sheriff of Greenville County.
